Funky Funky World Fusion

Cheeky cheeky. Found a CD in my old mans car, thought id give it a listen and surprisingly its got some good beats. These tracks are fairly old but there pretty good. Good stuff to relax and unwind to. I really like the Parov Stelar - "Kiss Kiss" track. Its got a nice beat to it and the use of the trumpet and the woman singing is pretty cool. Anyone know any other artists that sound similar to Parov Stelar?

Demon Ritchie - "Only in New York"

Visti and Meyland - All Nite (Yes Maam)

Trentemøller would have to be one of my favourite DJ's to listen to when im relaxing but also when im designing. His music varies from progressive house to minimal. His album The Last Resort is critically acclaimed and has been voted in the top 30 of the noughties from many publications, blogs and websites. So if your into real chillout stuff/minimal then you definitely need to check him out. He hasn't released anything new for quite sometime but i am eager to hear if hes producing anything new. His remix of Franz Ferdinands - "No You Girls" is a fantastic minimal take on the song, with plenty of bass, strange and quirky sounds.

Editors - "You Don't Know Love" (Boys Noize Classic Mix)

Boys Noize has done a rather nice remix of the Editors song "You Dont Know the Love". With rather strange computer like speech through the song, finally kicks in at about 1:30. Its a remix that you wouldn't really think that Boys Noize would do. But its great that hes doing something a little different. Feb 28th cant come any sooner! Cant wait to see him at Future Music Festival

Rye Rye - “Rock Off Shake Off’ DJ Mehdi & Staygold Remix

Just found this on DJ Mehdi's blog. Its actually not a bad remix. According to Mehdi he did this sometime last year and clearly forgot to release it. So here it is!

Bioshock 2

The original Bioshock was easily one of the best games ive ever played. With the incredible environments, attention to detail, story and gameplay. So with Bioshock 2 taking the same formula as the original but with a major twist. Bioshock 2 is out in Australia February 2nd.

Boys Noize - Jeffer (BeatauCue Vocal Mix)

After being teased for months with Erol Alkan dropping this mix from BeatauCue in his sets, its finally released straight from Boys Noize Records. Killer vocal mix. With the merging of rap and electro coming more prominent this is a good taster on what we could be hearing this year and beyond.

Kid Cudi - "High's N Lows" (Produced by Dot Da Genius)

Ah the man of the moment. Kid Cudi has firmly put a foot hold on the hip hop industry taking the world by storm with his album Man on the Moon. "Highs N Lows" is a fantastic track and sounds familiar to "Sky Might Fall". With the soothing lyrics and fairly chilled beat, its a classic Kid Cudi track. I can not wait to go and see him at Good Vibrations 2010 in Perth in a couple weeks time.

*Bonus* Kid Cudi - Cudderisback (feat Vampire Weekend)

Keep the Frequency

Just came across this remix by Australian DJ/Producer R!M!E. I literally cant be bothered trying to describe what this sounds like but ill post a video of Djedjotronic @ Les Transardentes Festival playing a remix of Altern8's "Frequency". R!M!E remix sounds familiar.

Crookers - We Love Animals Video Clip Teaser

The video looks as though its gonna go really well with the song. Crookers LP Tons of Friends is set for release in March 2010. The Religion remix gives it a bit more of a kick to it. The big swooshes and piano are a nice addition to the song, however the voices could of stood out a little more.

MSTRKRFT - Breakaway (Blende remix)

Came across this remix on Chemicaljump and oh my it is a killer remix. You could easily mistaken it for a Justice remix. Love the grungy, dirty sound. A real banger of a track... to bad MSTRKRFT didn't do this with the original. Im gonna have to find more Blende.

MSTRKRFT - Breakaway (Blende remix)

Kidda - Feel Too Good (Jack Beats Remix)

Ah Jack Beats. Awesome duo. This remix has been out for a while but with its chunky, loopy and drum heavy its a must that i post this. If you like Jack Beats you are gonna love this.

Kidda - Feel Too Good (Jack Beats Remix)

Computer Juice - "Juice" (D.I.M and Tai Remix)

The guys that brought you the mind bending, pill lovers song of 2009 "Lyposuct" have teamed up again and did a remix of Computer Juices "Juice". Again they bring out the weirdness and create a rather strange but different track. If you liked Lyposuct definitely give this track a few play through's. Get rid of the fucking click track.

Fever Ray you mad bitch! Take that Lady Gaga

Fever Ray is a crazy bitch. Fever Ray stunned everyone with her crazy acceptance speech in Sweden at the P3Gold music awards. She approached the stage with a veil, lifted it up and revealed a rather creepy/disturbing looking makeup. It takes the piss out of Lady Gaga who wore similar outfit but it also highlights the fact that in some parts of Europe its illegal for women to wear items of clothing covering their face. Fever Ray creates awesome music unlike Lady Gaga. Go go Fever Ray

Fever Ray - "When I Grow Up"

Fever Ray - "Seven"

Fever Ray - "Triangle Walks"
