Radio Slave - "Orchestrating Maneuvers In The Dark (Min & Patrick Lindsey Remix)"

To be honest i have no idea on how to best describe the track "Orchestrating Maneuvers In The Dark (Min & Patrick Lindsey Remix)". Lets just say its a fantastic blend of tech house, house and deep house. If your a fan of Dimitri from Paris, Gramophonedzie, Rockets and to a lesser extent The Juan MacLean this track is right up your alley. Apparently the Crookers are giving this track a bit of a whirl during their sets.

Burns - "Kiss N' Hold"

The track "Kiss N' Hold" is a fantastic balance of pure ecstasy and energy. From the thumping kick drum, solid bass and Surkin inspired synths, this track is a pure monster with an enormous amount of energy bursting from it seems. I don't know what it is about Burns but it reminds me of Justice. If your heading out to the Surkin gigs over the easter break, make sure you get there early and see Burns, he is a must see. Details on the Surkin and Burns gig's are below.

new-Outrage_Surkin_Syd_Web.jpg

French wonder kid straight from WMC will be hitting Australian shores along with Burns this easter weekend treating Australian fans to a killer set. The sad thing is that neither Surkin or Burns will be heading to the west. Lets hope they can get back to Australia soon and include Perth as well. All the other tour dates can be found on the OneLove Blog. I manged to get hold of the title track from Surkin's new EP "Silver Island" and its sound completely different to the other tracks on the EP. It has a cheesy 80's vibe to it with some with some even more cheesier synths.

Les Petits Pilous - "Goog"

Les Petits Pilous are absolutely killing it with their new EP "Bielle". They've managed to get in the top 100 of Indie Dance/Nu Dance with the tracks "Goog", "Bielle" and "Booty Pills" sitting with in the top 5. I managed to get a hold of "Goog" and its another stellar track from the boys. The track "Goog" sounds a lot an A-Trak track, but with some added synths and kick drum. Got this on repeat atm. I think is easily the favourite from their EP.

I came across this fantastic remix of Cassius's track 1999 on SoundCloud by the Londoner Tim Green. The remix is getting a huge amount of support in the DJ community with the likes of Erol Alkan, Sven Vath, Pete Tong, Eric Prydz, MANDY and plenty more. Highly recommend you give this a listen!!

Im a bit slow on posting this track but its better late than never. Coming off the Boys Noize Records "Miami Noize" EP the track is definitely not for the faint hearted. Its heavy, grungy, electro goodness track from the boys but it does incorporate some well worked in synth's and a voice sample that sound like they've been pulled out of a 1950's tv show.  The well constructed track contains the occasional "Woop" that strangely hooks you back in.

Download now from Beatport!

TRACKLIST:

1. BOYS NOIZE – SWEET LIGHT (BORIS DLUGOSH REMIX)
2. DJEDJOTRONIC – FETA (ORIGINAL MIX)
3. SHADOW DANCER – BISCAYNE (ORIGINAL MIX)
4. D.I.M. – LEVEL (ORIGINAL MIX)
5. JAN DRIVER – TELLYFOAM (ORIGINAL MIX)
6. STRIP STEVE – BREAKIN’ (RYNECOLOGIST REMIX
7. HOUSEMEISTER – FAMOUS (ORIGINAL MIX)
8. LES PETITS PILOUS – O.P.E. (ORIGINAL MIX)

If your reading this blog from Europe definitely go see them when they are on their "Bielle" tour. Hopefully they get back down to Australia soon

The Bloody Beetroots - "Domino (Spares of Romborama) Pt. 2 - EP"

Yes The Bloody Beetroots are back with their new EP "Domino (Spares of Romborama) Pt. 2 - EP". First cab off the rank is "Domino". My oh my this is a wonderful track, Sir Bob Rifo has returned with the classic Bloody Beetroots sound that made me fall in love with them for the first time. With a soothing and melodic intro, then at 1:45 the beat and kick drum drop and all hell brakes loose but still managing to keep that classic Bloody Beetroots sound. This track would get the crowd going nuts if you were to see The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 Live. With the chaos and thumping kick drum that "Domino" brings "31 Seconds to Die" does the complete opposite. Although still keeping a nice kick drum, the track takes on a slow pace thats very similar to "Second Streets Have No Name" but with very little lyrics. After listening to this EP its definitely got me to reconsider to going to Creamfields here in Perth.

The EP is out exclusively on iTunes but its yet to be added to the Australian iTunes store :(

Jamaica - "I Think i Like U2"

Jamaica formally known as Poney Poney are a band from Paris. Ive been listening and keeping a close eye on this band for the past year. They are currently working on their debut album with Xavier De Rosnay (1/2 Justice) producing. The track "I Think i Like U2" is heavily influenced by Xavier De Rosnay and has that rather familiar Justice sound.  The following video is directed by my favourite designer So_Me and Thomas Jumin and uses some incredible video techniques. Its a fake documentary of the band but it also gives a little insight of the band members Antoine & Flo. I think these guys will become the next Phoenix. I threw in one of their earlier tracks "Cross the Fader" as a bonus and its easily one of my favourite tracks from last year.

New Les Petits Pilous EP!

The French duo from Nice are back again with 4 new tracks on their EP "Bielle" released this morn. Thanks to LA Friendly i managed to get the banger of a track "Russian Forest". Taking on a grungy, grinding noisy techno and packaged along with a killer kick drum. Could it be the next Lyposuct? This track went off at Boys Noize's set at Future Music Festival and the Villa. I post the other tracks once i get hold of them.

1) Bielle
2) Booty Pills

Dada Life - Just Bleep Me (Satisfaction)

Theres a bit of controversey surrounding this track. Dada Life were touring with Tiesto and whilst they were in Liverpool apparantly Tiesto stole the track from the boys dressing room. Dada Life were DJing before Tiesto and to stick one up at him they dropped the track. Its not a bad rework from Dada Life, but adds a nice kick and some slightly different vocals compared to the original track. The track was gonna be part of their regular "Gorilla Farts" but they released it as an original mix.

Boys Noize & Erol Alkan - Avalanche/Lemonade EP

Boys Noize & Erol Alkan are back! Their first EP Waves/Death Suite was an incredible piece of work, which saw the likes of Bob Rifo, DJ Mehdi and Chilly Gonzales doing reworks and edits. "Avalanche/Lemonade" is a fantastic EP which showcases both the DJ producing talents. Im loving Avalanche and its easily one of my favourite tracks this year. Im surprised that Boys Noize and Erol Alkan never teamed up alot earlier. Cant wait for the next EP. An LP must be on the cards.

Burns - "So Many Nights"

DJ Mehdi did a Ed Banger Christmas mixtape and he threw in Burns " So Many Nights". At the time i had no idea who did the track and spent the last couple months trying to figure out what the track ID was. I came across the official video clip on Stoney Roads and there it was the track ID i've been searching for. The EP is out now on Beatport. The track "So Many Nights" reminds me of a mix between Daft Punk and Justice. Video clip below.

Nick Verwey - "That Motown Hustle"

A rather nice track sent from Nick Verwey on Soundcloud. "That Motown Hustle" is a tech house track with some a bit of Motown flare. The track is filled with a distorted tribal drum, smooth but thumping bass line and a couple James Brown grunts. The tracks sounds pretty similar sound to his remix of Stardusts "Music Sounds Better with You" so if you like that one you'll love the track "That Motown Hustle".

Science & Industry - "This is How its Meant to Be"

Science & Industry are signed to renowned LA record label Rock Steady which has the like of The Bloody Beetroots, Tiga, Unkle, Vitalic and many others on their books. So with some stellar artists on their books you would expect that when they send out tracks from some of their upcoming bands they would be killer. Science and Industry is a collaboration between Greenkeepers head honcho DJ/Producer James Curd, DJ/Producer/Ashtar Commander Chris Holmes and DJ/Singer-Songwriter JDub.

Science & Industry debut EP "Lets Go, Lets Go" is filled with electro pop, heavy rhythms, edgy guitar lines, dark synths and smooth vocals. If your into bands like the Yeah,Yeah, Yeahs, The Pragmatic, Art vs Science and the Midnight Juggernauts you will be right at home listening to these guys. The track "This is How its Meant to Be" is a poppy, electro, up beat track that uses some smooth electro synths, killer kick drum and a sneaky bass line. Cant stop listening to it! A rather nice beat to start the day with.

I dont know what it is with A-Trak but every single time i listen to his tracks and remixes i have the urge to go for a run. A-Trak's remix of Tiga's "What You Need" backing sound, sounds soooo much like James Pants "Ka$h (A-Trak & XXXChange Remix)". Its very noticeable at the the start. Other than that this is a great remix and smothered in A-Traks thumping beats, synths and the sense of progressing. Anything new from A-Trak is always good news. Enjoi!

JFK & St. Mandrew - "Beehive" & "Towel Swinger"

JFK (1/2 of MSTRKRFT) teamed up with St. Mandrew awhile back and made some tracks together. The tracks "Beehive" and "Towel Swinger" have finally been released to the public and released on JFK's new label Teenage Riot Records. "Towel Swinger" has that classic dirty MSTRKRFT sound to it and could easily be mistaken as a new release. Nice club floor banger right there. The track "Beehive" is well i cant really explain it, but just have a listen. Enjoi!

MGMT have just released one of the tracks off their upcoming sophomore album "Congratulations". The track "Flash Delirium" is really different compared to the tracks from their album "Oracular Spectacular". The tracks has a 60's surfy vibe that takes you on a sonic, drug fueled, hypnotic journey. "Flash Delirium" is heavily influenced by Pink Floyd. Its definitely a nice change for MGMT and its suites their image that they portray. Enjoi!

Mr. Flash - "Blood Sweat & Tears EP Teaser"

Mr Flash was the first person to be signed to Ed Banger Records way back in 2003 when the record company was first founded. Mr Flash has featured in all of the Ed Banger Records Volume CD releases his track "Over the Top" was a killer track. It was easily one of my favorites on Ed Banger Records Volume 3. Mr Flash is set to release his 3rd EP, which has 6 tracks, some time in April but it is unknown on what the track ID's are.
